Hasta que me desates shares with that film the risk for the extreme, this time bringing back the taste for the erotic thriller, a genre that used to invade the screens but has now become rare. The film follows the footsteps of two protagonists. On one hand, a young dancer who, after a fatal accident in which she lost her family, is left immersed in a pit of despair that leads her towards self-destruction, flirting with death. On the other, a doctor bearing the infamy of a malpractice case. Their paths meet in what is the beginning of a spiral in which fascination and madness squirm in a nightmarish love story, and where sex explores areas of extreme fetishism, complete with graphic S&M and stylized bondage. Once more, one can perceive in Garateguy's hands a perverse pleasure for going beyond the limits, and in her search for strong emotions she finds a voice as urgent as it is unique."
